Malaysia Cup Quarter-Final Preview (2) | Selangor FC vs Negeri Sembilan FC | Full Support Needed!


Selangor FC are ready to face Negeri Sembilan FC in the second leg of the Malaysia Cup Quarter-Finals today at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, with kick-off at 9 pm.

In their last five meetings, the Red Giants have won four matches: Super League 2024/2025 (4-0), Malaysia FA Cup Quarter-Final first leg 2025/26 (4-0), Super League 2025/26 (1-0), and Malaysia Cup Quarter-Final first leg 2025/26 (1-0). Negeri Sembilan have won once, with a total of 18 goals scored across all five games.

According to Selangor FC Head Coach Kim Pan-gon, while there are some minor discomforts within the squad, he is confident the players know their roles and understand the importance of this #SFCNSE clash.

“Today’s home match is very important. Every player knows their role on the pitch, and I am confident they are ready to give their best and make the most of our home advantage. Despite a few minor issues, such as fatigue, the team is prepared to perform fully and compete at a high level tonight,” he explained.

“Moreover, the support of Red Giants fans will make a huge difference in this match. I hope supporters can come and back the team fully because your energy and cheers will inspire the players, and together we can deliver a performance that makes the club proud,” he added.

With tickets now officially sold out, Selangor FC management is confident the team will give their all for the fans and the club to secure progression to the next round.
